Midtown Counseling is providing a one-day workshop for survivors to tell their stories, support others, and discover ways of healing their trauma. Stage Stars Dance & Performing Arts Studio's "Summer Tour '07" to benefit actress Mariska Hargitay's (Law & Order SVU) charity, The Joyful Heart Foundation.

Twenty five of the area's most talented performers who range in age from 5-19 will perform in dances, songs, musical theater numbers, and one acts. This gifted and dedicated cast also performed in Six Flags Great Adventure and NYC's First annual Dance Parade. They soon head to Hershey Park and Wildwood. Then, the "Summer Tour '07" will go out with a bang with a performance in Walt Disney World this August. All performances on our "Summer Tour '07" will benefit The Joyful Heart Foundation.

A representative from the foundation will be attending the show to speak to the audience. The cast has worked extremely hard and is very proud to support the Joyful Heart. The Joyful Heart Foundation is thrilled to team up with our friends at the amazing non-profit organization Clothes Off Our Back.

Immediate following the 58th Primetime Emmy Awards on August 27, Clothes Off Our Back will offer clothing and accessories worn by winners, nominees and attendees on the red carpet. In addition to clothing, specialty items will also be available for the auction.

To help raise funds and awareness for Joyful Hearts mission and vision, Clothes Off Our Back will be auctioning many items worn by JHF founder Mariska Hargitay including her gorgeous dresses from: Carolina Herrera Gown (Sag Awards 2006 ), Carolina Herrera Gown (Emmy Awards 2005) and many more!
