The Difference We Make

As we reflect on the memorable moments of the past fiscal year, we celebrate the support and partnerships that make our work possible. We also look to the path ahead—to the end of this violence. To get there, we will continue to broaden our reach and raise the volume around these issues while staying true to our unwavering commitment to support survivors’ healing.

Joyful Heart  launched a new vision, mission, and logo at our Joyful Revolution Gala at Lincoln Center in May. That mission is to transform society’s response to sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse, support survivors’ healing, and end this violence forever. It keeps both joy and survivors’ healing at the core of our work, and our vision for the future—a world free of sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse— is bolder than ever. Together, our mission and vision serve as an important call-to-action to challenge the cultural stigma surrounding these issues, to continue dedicating ourselves to survivors’ well-being, and to affect significant change through a lens of compassion, collaboration, and unwavering determination.

We thank you for joining us, and invite you to read about our work and what we have accomplished in our 2015 – 2016 Fiscal Year across our three program areas of Healing, Education, and Advocacy.
