Me&Ro and Mariska Hargitay’s Joyful Heart Foundation Launch New Fearlessness Tag Pendant to Support Survivors of Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence

November 20, 2012, New York — Me&Ro and the Joyful Heart Foundation are excited to announce the launch of the new unisex Fearlessness Tag Pendant as the latest piece in the seven-year collaboration between the jeweler and the non-profit organization, which has raised more than $430,000 over the course of the partnership. The new pendant reaffirms the message that by embracing fearlessness we are reminded to approach life with an open heart and to be strong in the face of life’s adversities.

Founded in 2004 by Law & Order: Special Victims Unit actress Mariska Hargitay, the mission of the Joyful Heart Foundation is to heal, educate and empower survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and child abuse, and to shed light into the darkness that surrounds these issues.

“Me&Ro’s Fearlessness line has turned up the volume on the issues that Joyful Heart seeks to address—sexual assault, domestic violence and child abuse. Those topics are often shrouded in silence, darkness and fear, and that's why the pieces that Me&Ro creates for Joyful Heart are so special. They're like precious pieces of light, reflecting the beauty of courage, the beauty of healing," said Hargitay, Joyful Heart Founder & President.

Building on the success of the current Fearlessness collection, Me&Ro designer Robin Renzi has created a new twist on the classic Fearlessness Slate pendant.

“It is a joy for me to collaborate and work closely with the Joyful Heart Foundation, as the work they do is vital for every single human being,” said Renzi on the eve of the pendant’s launch.

The new unisex Fearlessness Tag pendant is available is 10K gold or sterling silver on either chain or natural cotton cord. 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of these pendants will directly benefit Joyful Heart.
