Mariska Hargitay poses with her pal Debra Messing on the red carpet at the Joyful Heart Foundation’s Joyful Revolution Gala on Thursday evening (May 29) at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City.

Also in attendance at the event were Penn Badgley, Harry Connick Jr., Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria, Girls‘ Jemima Kirke, Mariska‘s Law & Order: SVU co-stars Danny Pino and Kelli Giddish, and her husband Peter Hermann.

The mission of the Joyful Heart Foundation is to heal, educate and empower survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and child abuse, and to shed light into the darkness that surrounds these issues.
