VH1 is sick of the silence, excuses, stigma and victim-blaming that comes with domestic violence and sexual assault cases. And you should be too! That’s why we are joining forces with NO MORE, a campaign dedicated to ending domestic violence and sexual assault for good.

It’s a long battle, but we’re not alone in the fight. Nick Lachey, Shad Moss, Sway and countless other celebrities come together in a PSA for this necessary cause. They’re saying no more.

Have you ever said the phrases, “He was drunk,” “She seems fine to me” or “He didn’t mean it” when discussing a sexual assault case? If so, you need to take a look at this video right now.

Don’t think these issues are a big deal? Chew on these statistics:

  • 1 in 3 teenagers experience sexual or physical abuse or threats from a significant other in one year.
  • 1 in 2 women and 1 in 5 men have experienced a form of sexual victimization in their lives.
  • Before the age of 18 (that’s high school, guys), 1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men were sexually abused.

In a nutshell? Twenty-four people are physically abused, raped or stalked every minute.

You can join VH1 and NO MORE in our mission to end domestic violence and sexual assault. Watch the PSA and visit NO MORE’s website for more information.

Let’s tell the world that #VH1saysNOMORE.
