The NO MORE Excuses Video and Print Series

The myths that blame victims of domestic violence and sexual assault—and the excuses we make that allow these crimes to go on—are pervasive. Frequently, we hear or read about them: that there’s nothing we can do to fix it. That because survivor dressed a certain way, she was "asking for it." Or that because a survivor didn't fight, or leave, or run away, or tell anyone, it was their fault.

Every single one of us is a part of the community that can help end the ignorance, inaction and indifference surrounding domestic violence and sexual assault.

With a combined cast of over 75 individuals—entertainers, athletes, government officials and advocates—Joyful Heart's NO MORE Excuses series offer a simple call to action:

NO MORE excuses.
NO MORE silence.
NO MORE violence.

In lending their voices to this campaign, the cast invites everyone to join them in saying NO MORE to domestic violence and sexual assault. See the NO MORE Excuses series below.
