Michael Stars Shopping Event in Manhattan Beach

To celebrate the national launch of an updated capsule collection of limited-edition Michael Stars tees and tanks, Joyful Heart and Michael Stars held a shopping event at the designer’s Manhattan Beach store on December 3, 2015.  

The event was hosted by Joyful Heart Los Angeles Committee member Kadie Chambers, who invited her fellow South Bay Community members to shop Michael Stars's latest collection of ultra soft, sweaters, dresses, jackets as well as other pieces including their holiday line.  At the event Michael Stars offered shoppers, sips and bites and generously donated 25 percent of the total sales from the event to Joyful Heart.  

With three styles to choose from, including a long sleeve crew neck tee, a short sleeve crew neck tee and a newly added tank design, the Joyful Heart collection of cotton knits features a metallic heart inscribed with inspirational words to empower survivorssuch as "love," "heart" and “soul." Retailing between $54 - $64, the collection is available online at michaelstars.com and in Michael Stars retail locations nationwide. 25 percent of each tee sold is donated to support Joyful Heart’s work.
