More than 120 supporters gathered on September 12 for a fashion luncheon hosted by Bottega Veneta, Joyful Heart, and Vanity Fair to benefit our work.

Guests at the event browsed Bottega Veneta’s highly-anticipated new collection preview.

Joyful Heart board members and Los Angeles Committee Co-Chairs Jenny Belushi and Heather Mnuchin graciously welcomed guests who shopped at Bottega Veneta’s pop-up boutiques featuring artisan crafted leather handbags, fine jewelry and accessories, chic dresses, and ready-to-wear coats. A portion of the sales will benefit Joyful Heart’s work.

With summer in full swing, FabFitFun is featuring Joyful Heart in its seasonal subscription box filled with the latest premium beauty and lifestyle products.

Joyful Heart supporters will get a $10 discount on the Summer Box, which highlights Joyful Heart's work and a message from Founder and President Mariska Hargitay on her inspiration for establishing the organization. Joyful Heart CEO Maile Zambuto talks about some of her favorites from the Summer Box in this video below.

Survivors and supporters excitedly lined up outside The Martlet Tattoo Parlor in Hollywood, California on May 13 to attend an all-day flash tattoo fundraiser to support Joyful Heart. The event organizer, Still Not Asking For It (SNAFI), promotes awareness and discussions of sexual assault and violence in our community and to say it is unacceptable.

On February 8th, Joyful Heart's committees partnered with Sugarfina to host a fun evening of candy tasting and shopping for a cause.  Guests at this public event sipped sparkling water and champagne and sampled scrumptious champagne gummies, dark chocolate caramel hearts, butterfly gummies, and cherry heart gummies.  Thank you to Sugarfina for opening your hearts and stores in New York, San Francisco, Manhattan Beach, Beverly Hills, Pasadena and Honolulu.

On November 17th, 37 members of our joyful community gathered for our first Los Angeles Committee Holiday Boutique, hosted by members Jenny Belushi, Jill Eisenstadt-Chayet, Colleen O'Brien and Vanessa Frank.

​On September 29th, Carolina Herrera, in partnership with the event committee: Heather Mnuchin, Jenny Belushi, Jill Eisenstadt-Chayet and Wendy Landes hosted 40 members of our joyful community for a private shopping event at their new Beverly Hills location.

In honor of Mother’s Day, next generation advocates Sophia Schrager, Ava Schrager, Emma Lasry, Ana Novogratz, and Gaby Novogratz hosted a Me&Ro shopping event on Sunday April 10th at the home of Rita Schrager to benefit the Joyful Heart Foundation’s transformative work.

To celebrate the national launch of an updated capsule collection of limited-edition Michael Stars tees and tanks, Joyful Heart and Michael Stars held a shopping event at the designer’s Manhattan Beach store on December 3, 2015.  

Following the success of our February Los Angeles event with LANVIN, Joyful Heart and the couture fashion house partnered again in July for an event in the Hamptons.

A gorgeous, sunny day—the kind that exist only in southern California—set the stage for the LANVIN collection preview and luncheon to benefit the Joyful Heart Foundation and to toast Mariska’s birthday. The event was hosted by the LA Committee along with Jenny Belushi, Helen Kinnear, Crystal Lourd, Heather Mnuchin and Noelle Wolf and took place on February 1st at Heather’s home of in Los Angeles. This collection preview and luncheon provided a wonderful opportunity to bring together some of the LA’s most influential women and share the tremendous importance of Joyful Heart’s work and how the vision of one woman—Mariska—has transformed the lives of so many women and children.
