Giving Back on #GivingTuesday

Today marks a special day on our calendars this holiday season: #GivingTuesday. After a day of giving thanks, Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday calls on us to channel the spirit of joy, gratitude and generosity this holiday season into giving back.

On this special day, we ask you to consider a gift to support Joyful Heart's work to heal, educate and empower survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and child abuse, and to shed light inot the darkness that surrounds these issues. Our work is 100% privately funded, by people just like you. Any gift that is meaningful to you is meaningful to us.

#GivingTuesday is also about inspiring action. Simply taking the time to learn about the issues of sexual assault, domestic violence and child abuse is a big step. Sharing information about these issues and your commitment to help end violence and abuse with your community is an even bigger one. Get started by posting your #GivingTuesday #UNselfie with this template.

Fianlly, we invite you to visit our Heartshop to shop for your holiday gifts, including the new NO MORE jewelry collection from Me&Ro. From bracelets to bags, clothing to chocolates, we have something for everyone on your list. And best of all—a portion of proceeds from every item is donated to support our work.

Thank you for turning towards these issues today and every day.

Finally, we want to thank and acknowledge the founders of #GivingTuesday: 92Y and the United Nations Foundation. The #GivingTuesday movement strengthens the work on non-profit organizations, like Joyful Heart, and inspires action throughout the world.
