As Joyful Heart nears the close of our fiscal year on June 30, we are finalizing our plans for the year ahead—a year that will be filled with possibility as we bring healing to even more survivors and the professionals who serve them; keep raising the volume on the issues of sexual assault, domestic violence and child abuse; and continue making great strides towards ending the backlog of untested rape kits across the country.

The stakes could not be higher. One in three women report being physically or sexually abused by a husband or boyfriend at some point in their lives. Every two minutes in the United States, someone is sexually assaulted. More than five children die every day in this country as a result of child abuse and neglect.
