Now that Law & Order: Special Victims Unit has been renewed for Season 14, star Mariska Hargitay wants her character Olivia Benson to find long-lasting love.

I’m sure almost every night in New York and Los Angeles, there is a room that contains handfuls of celebrities, bankers and society ladies clinking glasses and pledging thousands to some cause or another. But, though I have been to a whole lot of those kinds of soirees, I feel like the one I went to last night, a benefit for the Joyful Heart Foundation at Cipriani Wall Street in NYC, is a little bit different from the others.

Mariska Hargitay welcomed friends Hilary Swank and Debra Messing to celebrate with her at the fifth annual Joyful Revolution Gala New York City, in honor of the organization she founded, the Joyful Heart Foundation. The non-profit focuses on supporting survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse, a cause that Hargitay became well-acquainted with after working on Law & Order: SVU. Of course, I am attracted to beauty. I am really thrilled, though, when design is infused with emotion and genuine meaning. Case in point, recently we collaborated with Mariska Hargitay and the whole dream team at her Joyful Heart Foundation to bring the purpose of the foundation’s work to life in the décor of their annual fundraising gala in New York City.
