Join Us for NO MORE Week: March 8 - 14

Next week marks the anniversary of the launch of NO MORE, the movement to unite our entire society—advocates, companies, legislators, survivors and the public—around the commitment to end—yes, end—domestic violence and sexual assault.

Joyful Heart is proud to play a leading role in NO MORE, and we invite you to join us next week to celebrate how far we have come. NO MORE Week 2015 activities are happening all across the country. Join us in any of the following ways.

TUNE IN TO SAY NO MORE ON SUNDAY, MARCH 8

On Sunday, March 8, International Women's Day, Joyful Heart is partnering with USA Network to kick off NO MORE Week with the next 11-hour #NOMOREexcuses marathon of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Watch out for special messages from the cast and videos from Joyful Heart's NO MORE PSA campaign, and join the conversation throughout the day on Twitter with the hashtag #NOMOREexcuses. The marathon begins at 12pm/11c.

You can already follow Hawai‘i Says NO MORE activities on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, and learn more about the schedule of launch events taking place during NO MORE Week here.

IndianaNew HampshirePennsylvania and Rhode Island all have local NO MORE websites featuring opportunities to get involved and links to resources. California Says NO MORE has just launched a state-wide initiative, and Chicago Says NO MORE will be kicking off its city-wide NO MORE campaign.

If you'd like to get involved in an event already taking place, there are dozens of them happening throughout NO MORE Week. Visit the NO MORE WEEK 2015 page to find out about events in your area or to organize one.

GRATITUDE

As we celebrate the anniversary of NO MORE next week, it is a moment to take stock of our journey and those who have made our work possible. In particular, Joyful Heart is incredibly grateful to Young & Rubicam and Rachel Howald, who developed Joyful Heart's NO MORE PSA campaign; our media partners—especially Viacom and USA Network; our producing partner, Viacom Velocity; renowned photographer Timothy White; our incredible cast and crew; and of course, you.

"Together we can end domestic violence and sexual assault" reads the tagline for NO MORE. The most important word in that phrase? “Together.” Thank you for being a part of this movement and celebrating our journey together next week.
