Joyful Heart Foundation hosted its 2017 Joyful Revolution Gala with Mariska Hargitay, Cyrus Vance, Jr., Kathryn Gallagher, and Cynthia Erivo celebrating the strength of a community determined to transform the way society responds to sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse.
On September 4, more than 300 members of our Hawai‘i community gathered at the beautiful Kahala Hotel & Resort to celebrate Joyful Heart’s journey to end sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse forever.

On Wednesday, May 6, Joyful Heart more than 500 members of our community came together for our annual Joyful Revolution Gala: The Conversation Is Now in Session.
To celebrate our 10th Anniversary and the say thank you to some of the navigators who have made our journey possible, Joyful Heart and Tori Richard was honored to have Tori Richard host a private dinner with Nancy and Herb Conley, who opened their home to nearly 100 guests. The intimate evening provided a time for us to connect to our story, our work and each other before our larger Joyful Mele event—and to celebrate the generosity and spirit of those who have made our work possible.

On the evening of Thursday, September 26, 2013 at our biennial Los Angeles event, JoyROCKS, the Joyful Heart staff, board, LA committee members and 350 of our dedicated supporters turned out to celebrate Joyful Heart’s work and the launch the NO MORE PSA campaign.
On May 9, 2013, Joyful Heart staff, board members and supporters gathered to celebrate the Joyful Revolution at our 2013 annual gala. This year’s theme was YES RISK JOY. These words were borrowed from a poem by Louise Glück called snowdrops, and this theme echoed throughout Cipriani 42nd Street that night—from the beautiful installation at the entrance of the space that brought written word to life, to the moving story of our work, told by the evening’s host, Peter Hermann. Mariska Hargitay, Joyful Heart’s Founder & President, was so proud to honor Joyful Heart board member Sukey Novogratz with this year’s Heart of Gold Award.
